We’ll visit the pyramids of Giza and the great Temples of Karnak and Luxor, but with an eye for how these places looked and functioned in the Ramesside Era, about thirty-two hundred years ago.
After seeing the great sights of Luxor and the Valleys of the Kings and Queens, we’ll change our modern tour bus for a mode of transportation that Ramesses would have recognized – a luxurious boat on the Nile. From our dahabiyya we’ll see Egypt from the River, and visit, islands, towns and temples between Luxor and Aswan from a different perspective.

Pharaohs' Missing Treasure When Howard Carter found the tomb of Tutankhamen in Egypt's Valley of the Kings in 1922, he was mesmerized by the splendor of the artifacts that the young king took to the afterlife. Attached to the burial chamber was a treasury with so many jewels and other artifacts that it took Carter ten years to fully catalog them.
One rarely visited site will be the rock-cut temple and quarry at Gebel el Silsila. Here we’ll meet Ramesses ‘other’ great love, his Royal Wife, Isis, the mother of Khaemwase. And naturally, we’ll spend time at Abu Simbel, examining the great war reliefs and many unique images of the gods of Egypt and Nubia.
You’ll spend quiet time in the exquisite temple of Nefertari, where the graceful queen can be seen in the presence of the goddesses of Love and Loyalty, Hathor and Isis.

Myths of the Pharaohs are new puzzle items in Curse of the Pharaohs. Each of the four afterlife regions in the expansion has Stelae (stone tablets) locations, where you have to locate and read the Stelae. Once you have found and read all four stelae in each of the four afterlife regions you will receive a Pharaohs Myth cryptic puzzle which leads to the location of the Pharaohs treasure.
This is a guide to all the Stelae locations in the Heb Sed afterlife region as well as a guide to finding the Treasure of Ramesses.
There are four stelae locations to find in the Heb Sed afterlife region.
Orion’s Crater stelae is located in the easter part of Heb Sed,
On reading the Orion’s Crater stelae, you will unlock The Great Ancestor pharaohs myth.
Nomad’s Rest stelae is lcoated on the western side of Heb Sed. You have to climb up to the top scaffolding platform at the rock formation to reach it.
Reading the Nomad’s Rest stelae will unlock the King of Kings pharaohs myth.
The Pavillion of Judgement stelae is lcoated pretty much right in the center of Heb Sed.
Reading the Pavillion of Judgement stelae will unlock the Flame-Haired God pharaohs myth.
The Royal Guards Rest stelae islocated in the western part of Heb Sed, it is just north of the Nomad’s Rest stelae.
Reading the Royal Guards Rest stelae will unlock The Architect of Egypt pharaohs myth.
Now that you’ve found and read all four stelae in Heb Sed, you should now have gotten the Treasure of Ramesses pharaohs myth. Like the other ones, this will contain a cryptic clue, pointing you in the direction of Ramesses’ treasure.
A towering likeness, Victory, gazing over immeasurable Kadesh
A Coward’s feet flee over thegustless sands.
Fearful as a child he sought sanctuary in the Great Heart
But gripped with great malice, he lies red amongst roaring snakes.
This cryptic clue is actually rather helpful, from the text we know that the treasure is hidden somewhere near one of the huge Ramesses statues that are dotted around Heb Sed, we also know that the staute is overlooking the Battlefield of Kadesh.
The statue we need to head to is the one with the fast travel point on top of it, this one overlooks the Battlefield of Kadesh. Head to this statue of Ramesses and you should find some footprints in the sand, near the edge of the statue. Follow the footsteps round until you come across a gap/crack in the rock. Enter the gap and the treasure will be on the left. Just watch out for the four Cobra’s that are there.
